Central Shockwave Therapy Clinic, located in the centre of Coventry, is a two-minute walk from the main railway station. We are part of Central Chiropractic Clinic.
Our skilled clinicians, Maria Kibkalo and John Leete, trained at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic before embarking on medical careers spanning 23 and 25 years, respectively.
Shockwave therapy has been a main element of their work in the past 15 years while they have treated patients for soft tissue injuries such as tendinopathy, frozen shoulder and whiplash.
Following advancements in Shockwave technology, a wider range of conditions can be treated, including Vascular Erectile Dysfunction, Prostatitis, Peyronie’s Disease, Hard Flaccid and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome.
The benefits of Focused Shockwave are wide-ranging. It penetrates up to 12 cm, whereas the standard Radial Shockwave only reaches depths of between 3-4cm and does not have the same accuracy as Focused Shockwave when targeting damaged tissue.
