One of our patients, from Birmingham, attended the Central Chiropractic clinic last August for Erectile dysfunction treatment – or ‘ED’ as it is also known. Upon consultation, we learned that the patient was taking various medications for an unrelated health complaint. One such medication may have been responsible for his problems with achieving an erection.
Since the consultation, the patient has altered his medication and reported that he now finds it easier to ‘perform’ in the bedroom.
A common cause of Erectile dysfunction is the side effects of medication such as antidepressants, antihypertensives, opioids and even some hair regrowth tablets such as Minoxidil.
